Participating libraries
Juraportal.dk began as a project of the Faculty of Law Library, University of Copenhagen.

With the financial support of Denmark’s Electronic Research Library (DEFF) to the project “Access to pay-to-use databases on the DEFF gateways: Juraportal.dk and Bizigate”, Juraportal.dk now includes pay-to-use databases from the following libraries:

  • CBS Library
  • The Law Library, University of Aarhus
  • Faculty of Law Library, University of Copenhagen
  • The Royal Library, the National Library and Copenhagen University Library
  • University Library of Southern Denmark
  • The State and University Library, Aarhus University
  • Aalborg University Library
  • Aarhus School of Business Library

Project support
Juraportal.dk is supported by Denmarks Electronic Research Library.

Purpose and users
The purpose of Juraportal.dk has been to gather a collection of relevant, electronic resources within law. The aim is for Juraportal.dk to become the main gateway of legal information resources.

The gateway is accessible for all, but the primary user group is students, researchers and teachers. Please note that a selected part of the resources in the gateway have limited access.

Content
Juraportal.dk is a subject gateway to law, criminology and related subject areas. The gateway contains the following types of electronic resources:

  • Decisions, laws and regulations
  • Bibliographies
  • Libraries and library catalogues
  • Subject gateways, link collections, virtual libraries
  • Research projects and centres
  • Courses and educational material
  • Monographs including government publications
  • News services
  • Organizations, governmental bodies and persons
  • Patents and statistics
  • Reference materials
  • Journals, articles

The gateway contains electronic resources only, but printed materials might be mentioned in articles etc.

Resources published by public and private organizations, firms, societies and experts are included if the professional content and level are up to standard.

Non-neutral information or special pleadings can be included.

Juraportal.dk is not restricted to any languages or countries. The resources of the gateway are however mainly from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, EU and the Anglo-American countries.
